How to Share Your Impact

To wrap up our posts on October’s monthly theme of How to Share Your Impact, we want to highlight the important role of a nonprofit’s follow-up communication with its donors.
After an in-person or virtual event, a fundraising campaign, or a one-time donation, follow-up communication is a great opportunity to share impact stories that will keep your organization fresh in a donor’s mind.
Implement multiple touchpoints after an event or campaign to thank donors, show the specific impact of their donation, and the broad reach of the organization.
And don’t forget to provide information on upcoming opportunities to remain involved with your organization.
Keep supporters engaged in various ways before you ask for another gift, and make sure that they are confident that their dollars have had a tangible impact.
