Breaking It Down

This month, RBW Strategy has been focusing on #newbeginnings.
We’ve talked about how to avoid overwhelm by “chunking it down” – breaking down a large project into smaller, manageable chunks.
But in order to get a new project off the ground, you also have to think big picture. Otherwise, your endeavor could easily go off course.
If you’re not naturally a strategic thinker, big picture planning can be challenging.
Prepare for your new project or role by asking: What are the most important things for me to accomplish? What actions should I prioritize to help me keep my values at the center of my work? How can I make time for myself and protect my health so that I have the strength to reach my goals? Who else can help me accomplish my top goals? And what mentors and colleagues will help me prioritize my values and my health?
