Team Motivation
Managers, what is the best way to keep your team members motivated?
Help them take a step forward every day.
Research shows that people are more positive about their work if they can see that they are making tangible progress.
Leaders can help set their team members up for success by setting clear, manageable goals that can be reached within a day, a week, or a month.
Managers can also help keep people motivated by making sure employees have enough time and resources to meet their boots-on-the-ground goals and by providing recognition at regular intervals of the progress that each person is making.
As leaders and managers, we should be looking to improve our own progress-enhancing behaviors.
