Organizational Culture
Almost all companies and nonprofits have a values statement on their website. These sound fantastic – forward-looking, engaging, showcasing integrity. But how many of these core values are actually applied on a day-to-day basis? In essence, are organizations walking the walk and not just being performative with what they choose to share in a digital format?
This is an important topic to me, so this month, RBW is taking a look at organizational culture across our blog, newsletter, and social media. Your organization’s culture should mimic your core values, and should be pervasive with how leadership and staff treat one another, other stakeholders, vendors, partners, and not just those who you think “matter” more than others. During the month, we’ll explore different components of organizational culture and why authenticity and integrity are critical to your success, not just on a professional level, but with funders and other grantmakers.
