Maryland Nonprofits’ mission is to strengthen organizations for greater quality of life and equity. It helps nonprofits realize their power and capacity to advance vibrant, connected, and equitable communities. This 501(c)3 nonprofit is located in Baltimore, and there are over 39,500 nonprofits in Maryland alone. Maryland Nonprofits is an active organization that advocates and supports organizations and is one of the most active state nonprofit member organizations in the US.
RBW Strategy has partnered with Maryland Nonprofits since 2020 on several grant projects and grant trainings, to support the organization, component organizations under its umbrella, and its member entities.
Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, many nonprofit organizations that Maryland Nonprofit serves are located in this geographic area and are challenged with financial, resource, and capacity deficits. While the organization advocates for organizations across the state, the needs differ between urban, suburban, and rural areas. Over the years, Maryland Nonprofits has targeted its approach and requested support from RBW Strategy to help them and their member entities.
Maryland Nonprofits contracted with RBW Strategy starting in 2020, and our organization has provided extensive support, including strategic readiness, prospect research, and grant writing. Maryland Nonprofits extended its contract with RBW Strategy to incorporate Maryland Latinos Unidos, and our team provided prospect research, grant writing, and coaching support. Due to the successful research provided, Maryland Nonprofits requested additional prospect research support, as writing support was taken in-house. All of this support has helped build the organization’s grant-seeking capacity.
Due to the firm’s knowledge of federal grant compliance, Maryland Nonprofits requested our team to train county-level agencies and nonprofit organizations on federal grant compliance and management, which was well received. Most recently, Maryland Nonprofits was awarded a contract with Baltimore County, and our team provided a successful series of grant readiness and compliance sessions to Baltimore nonprofits.
Maryland Nonprofits contracted with RBW Strategy starting in 2020, and our organization has provided several consulting services, including strategic readiness, prospect research, and grant writing. In addition, we are a sought-after trainer on topics such as federal grant compliance and grant readiness and have spoken at several Maryland Nonprofit Conferences since 2020 on these topics.
