Holidays

Since our lives inextricably changed in 2020, there have been more discussions about the way we work and how work makes us feel.
The holidays add to this dialog, especially because this time of year can be uplifting for some of our staff and team members and challenging for others. As leaders, how can we support our entire team during the holiday season?
Mental health considerations are different for everyone, so what if we let others lead? We naturally think about the holidays through our own lens, but each person’s experience could be vastly different. It is best to not make assumptions about family gatherings, time off, or the need for renewed energy.
People need space to celebrate or pass the holidays in their own ways, and they need to feel supported by their employers.
What will you do to create a more comforting environment for everyone on your team so that they can thrive during the holidays?
