There are so many tips and tricks out there, suggestions for preventing mental and emotional exhaustion, that you can’t try them all.
But one effective way to renew your energy and increase your resilience is to create some simple rituals that help break up your work day:
Take brief breaks at specific intervals.
Reduce the other interruptions that can intrude on your brainspace.
Consistently express your appreciation for your colleagues.
Whenever possible, spend more of your work time on the types of tasks and activities that you do best and enjoy most.
You should also be paying attention to things like the amount of exercise and sleep that you are getting, whether your personal relationships are enriching, and more.
But these few rituals will help you renew your energy and enthusiasm while you’re still at work, so give them a try!
