Her company, JAM Nonprofit Consulting LLC, helps nonprofits build their capacity through grant writing, program development, and strategic planning. Her clients have included Mission of Mercy Arizona, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona, Cancer Support Community of Arizona, and The First Tee of Phoenix. In addition, Jennie teaches grant writing at Arizona State University. She sits on the national board of the Grant Professionals Association, and has been Grant Professional Certified (GPC) since 2012. She has a BA in Communication from UC San Diego, and a MA in Performing Arts Administration from New York University.

Jennie lives Phoenix, Arizona with her rescue dog and never-ending list of DIY projects.

My favorite thing about this work: I learn something new every day! Research is inherent in grant writing, and over the years I’ve learned about such diverse topics as breast cancer, food insecurity, the human-animal bond, and the variety of approaches to help guide children into becoming productive adults.
