Meet the Team

RBW Strategy, LLC is led by Rachel Werner, a Project Management Professional and Certified Grant Professional. The RBW Strategy team includes professionals from the nonprofit and public sectors. Due to our experiences in the field, we understand the daily struggles of organizations. We also realize that expertise is one piece of the fundraising puzzle, and passion is another.

Whether it involves devoting extra hours to respond to government grant opportunities, implementing an internal control framework to manage government funding, brainstorming on a program concept, or gathering information and data from team members, we have been there, done that, and have found ways to make the work less complicated.

The RBW Strategy team members are not only doers, we are critical thinkers and subject matter experts who care deeply about the communities and the organizations we support. We are ideally positioned to improve workflows and grants infrastructures, and strengthen and manage fundraising portfolios. We shepherd in systems and processes to improve organizational processes year after year.

Combined, our team has 130 years of professional fundraising experience (approximately ten years of experience each in the nonprofit sector) and has collectively raised over $240 million and managed more than $2 billion in federal grant awards. We have deep subject matter expertise in multiple focus areas and have extensive fundraising and post-award management experience with government (federal, state, and local) sources and corporate, private, and family foundations. We have leveraged this body of expertise into a one-of-a-kind, results-driven service approach. Through our work with each client and our trainings in the field, we are using our collective knowledge and voices to influence the fundraising sector at large.
