American Revolution

On this day in 1775, Patrick Henry ignited the #AmericanRevolution with a speech containing this famous quote, “I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!” In current times, living in the “Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave” has come to mean something different to each American. To some, freedom means the ability to make their own choices. For others, it looks like barriers being removed.
As we continue to sort out what a republic built on #freedom means, let us all look to what ways we can be more inclusive in our definition of freedom, and continue creating a country and a world where freedom and resources are equitable. On this day, RBW gives a special shout out to @MarylandLatinosUnidos and their parent organization @MarylandNonprofits for their work to establish more equitable access and resources for the Latinx populations in Maryland.
